Synopsis for 1st story
Years ago, a Cyberdata S.H.O.C. team led by Killjoy assaulted the Iroquois shaman Oehda on a reservation in upstate New York. Aided by their ally Shadowblade, they sought to take a mystic stone Oehda wore around his neck, but he fought them off with his magic. In the present, archaeologist Thomas Pike and a student are exploring a cave on burial ground when they are attacked by a demon. Meanwhile, Ripclaw has a vision warning him that a demon is loose in the world and seeks the mystic stone. He awakens to a phone message from Pike’s daughter Laura, his ex-lover, asking his help in finding her father who is now missing. The next day, he meets with her and her fiancé, Jim Ogashoon, at their casino on the reservation. In Syracuse, New York, Pike—possessed by the demon Doonongaes—forcibly takes a stone similar to Oehda’s from a young boy. Laura a.k.a. Moonsong also possesses such a stone, and, that night, Killjoy and Shadowblade ambush her in her bedroom to try and take it. Laura is a werewolf, and she shifts into her animalistic form to defend herself. They knock her out, but Ripclaw arrives and drives them off. The next morning, Laura and Ripclaw go to the cave her father was exploring and are met by a large demon.
