Roam[1][src]

History

Roam was an artificial intelligence who supported the covert strike team Bloodstrike. In 1993, Bloodstrike leader Cabbot Stone returned from a mission in Jericho, Arizona, and told the mission details to Roam. Afterwards, Roam told Cabbot that it had lined up quite a few missions for the team while they were gone, having received a report from Washington that outlined several potential crisis situations revolving rogue super-humans around New York and involving the super-team Heavy Mettle, led by Supreme. However, Washington's primary concern was dealing with the vigilante team called Brigade, and Roam printed out their file to Cabbot.[1]

After Bloodstrike did an initial strike against Brigade, Roam tracked the surviving members to Los Angeles, so some members of Bloodstrike headed there while the rest put some Brigade prisoners, Kayo and Seahawk, aboard their jet. While in transit, Roam treated the prisoner's wounds and diagnosed them. Somehow, he was made to obey the commands of Lethal, an old ally of Brigade who commanded Roam to teleport her inside the jet and to warn her of any incoming persons.[2]

After freeing Seahawk, Lethal ordered Roam to teleport her and Seahawk to one of Battlestone’s safehouses on an island in the Caribbean. After they had a brief talk, Roam teleported them into the Los Angeles branch of G.A.T.E. International, where Brigade and Bloodstrike were located.[3]
