History

Sam Burke is a police officer for the New York City Police Department with his partner Twitch Williams.

They initially investigated the Stevens murder in an alley and found themselves being pulled deeper and deeper into the Bowery Alleyways.

When a fellow police officer was killed by a deranged Reverend, the officer's last words were, "red cape". This began Sam and Twitch's investigation into who Spawn really was.
