Synopsis for "ShadowHunt part 1: Hunter"
Unrestrained by the compassion of a human host, the robot Shadowhawk mercilessly executes two armed robbers and then threatens responding cops for exceeding the speed limit. While NYPD Captain Art Rieves argues with former Shadowhawks Lou Jacks, Christina Reid, and Lincoln Sum about what to do, Mickey Lippencott recalls his transformation into Tome, learning the origin of the Shadowhawk line, and working with Rieves and the others to reassemble the fragmented Spirit of Justice in its current robot host. Rieves dispatches Lippencott to retrieve the magic book that turned him into Tome, Sum to find weapons to fight the robot, and Reid to find the hieroglyphic tablet used to contact Horus and the gods. Once they leave, Rieves returns Jacks his police badge and gun, and they set out to stop the robot Shadowhawk themselves. Meanwhile, the FBI decides to take action following a news report of Shadowhawk crippling a man for jaywalking. In Central Park, the robot finds a street gang about to rape a jogger, slaughters them, and hangs their corpses on a metal fence. Later, Jacks and Rieves are examining the crime scene when FBI agents arrive and announce they are taking over the investigation. Jacks punches one of them and questions the FBI’s ability to take on the robot. Another agent responds by introducing Chapel who has been assigned to hunt it down.
