Sonatine was the leader of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Their sole purpose is to either control the bearer of the Darkness or to steal power. In the rebirth of the Top Cow universe with Switch #1, he was sworn to protect Tony Estacado, a future wielder of the Darkness, until he was old enough to use his powers. He was created by Garth Ennis and Marc Silvestri in Darkness #1 and was relaunched by Stjepan Sejic in Switch #1. |
