Plot Synopsis for "Gridiron, Part Two"
Euless Boss recalls getting beat down so bad on the football field when he was in high school, one day he threw up from the stress.
After the tryouts, Elmore Drummond and several other boys pummel Boss further telling him that he's worthless and needs to quit playing football. Ol' Big shows up and tells him they are right. At first Boss dismisses him for being blind, but starts to listen when Ol' Big starts telling him things he never noticed before.
Euless returns home and finds his dad engaging in an orgy with chickens all around him. Euless is forced out of the house and sleeps in the car at night.
The next days, the failure during practice and beating after tryouts continues. Euless looks at Ol' Big and tells him he'll do anything to join the team. Ol' Big begins training him by having him fish blindfolded, hitting a tree that won't budge, and running through hoops with barbed wire attached. Soon enough, the crowd begins to take notice at games that Euless is getting tackles and hitting harder than ever before.
In the present, Coach Boss yells at Kordell for letting a touchdown happen. Ol' Big stands next to him and tells him he had the same issue when he used to play.
Euless recalls finally being accepted onto the team as a small boy. He ran home to tell his dad he was finally on the team in hopes that this would help him finally love him. When he rushes in screaming about playing in the game, Mozel throws him on the floor and tells him Olis stole some chickens from the Tutwilers. When he won't tell them where the chickens are, he shoots Euless in the foot so that he won't be able to play in the game.
