Plot Synopsis for "The Clan"

Spawn walks home to New York rather than teleport. He's attempting to save his Necroplasm so he doesn't have to return to Hell.

In New York City, Sam Burke and Twitch Williams chase a criminal. Twitch proves his marksmanship again with a bullet to break a rope that a criminal was climbing to escape.

Klu Klux Klan 001

The Klu Klux Klan ride into town to cause havoc.

As Spawn continues his journey home, he is passed by speeding trucks filled with Klu Klux Klan members. They set fire to a local african american's, Brad Armstrong, house. When Spawn attempts to offer help, he isn't trusted as he's wearing a mask. When he tells them his story and shows he's badly burned, they put the gun away and take pity on him.

Later, Spawn approaches the KKK members and is shot in the head and killed. He's hung from a tree as the KKK members drive off.

The next day, Brad finds Spawn hung from the tree. Two KKK members find Brad and tell him to put down his gun. Spawn wakes up and disables the two men.

Later, Brad attempts to sue the men for damages via the legal system. The judge dismisses the case for lack of evidence.

Spawn discovers the judge is a KKK member. In a basement, the judge meets with his brethren as they decide to burn down Brad's house that night. The judge tells them he will go in first and then they follow 10 minutes later.

That night, Spawn lays a trap. He meets the judge and turns him into a black man with Necroplasm. When the other KKK members arrive and find a black man in a KKK outfit, they hang him from a tree.

Spawn promises Brad that he won't be bothered by the Judge anymore as he leaves town.

Solicit Synopsis

Spawn's long trek back to New York leads him deep into Klan territory, where a local chapter is planning to kill the county's last remaining black family. Spawn traps the leader in the family's house and transforms him into a black man. When the rest of the Klan arrives, the costumed redneck finds out how it feels to be on the other end of the lynching rope.
