Synopsis for 1st story
Stormwatch One returns to Skywatch unable to find Weatherman One. Diva notifies Winter that M.A.D.-1 has escaped from prison and is on the loose in Russia. Against Diva’s orders, Winter insists on going after M.A.D.-1 himself. Link Adams tries to talk to Strafe about Battalion’s death, but Malcolm rejects his help and visits his father Despot in stasis. In Argos’s basement, he tries to use Weatherman One to activate his portal, but she uses her powers to overload and destroy it. She then unleashes her energy on the building, collapsing it on top of Argos. Afterward, she returns to Skywatch. Elsewhere, Henry Bendix is analyzing recent Daemonite activity on Earth when Winter arrives seeking his help to stop M.A.D.-1. Bendix suggests they contact Cannon.

Synopsis for "Loose Cannon part 3"
Cannon questions the cyborg scientist and learns the facility is used to transform kidnapped street kids into Hunter-Killers. Enraged, he kills the scientist. He tries to help the young woman the scientist was experimenting on, but she begs him to kill her and the scientist’s other victims. Cannon cannot bring himself to do that and leaves, unsettled by the moral ambiguity of being a vigilante.
