Synopsis for 1st story

Nautika is modeling her new swimsuit for Sunburst when Weatherman One interrupts, ordering them and Flashpoint to pick up two new Stormwatch recruits.  En route, Flashpoint remarks that Deathtrap messed with his mind somehow during their captivity, a feeling Nautika and Sunburst share.  In Moscow, Winter and Cannon meet up with Bendix, who is wearing his old Think Tank battle armor, and they depart for Ukraine to stop M.A.D.-1 from raiding a nuclear stockpile.  They attack M.A.D.-1 when he arrives, but he quickly defeats them.  In Skywatch’s cryogenic prison, Strafe affirms his cynicism and frustration with Stormwatch to his frozen father.  StormWatch Prime arrives at the training facility and meets their new teammates, Zarej a.k.a. Pagan and Ray Bailey a.k.a. Undertow.  In Ukraine, Cannon and Winter regroup and prevent M.A.D.-1 from making off with nuclear material.  Bendix then uses his battle armor to unleash one massive salvo, killing M.A.D.-1. Just then, three additional M.A.D. units arrive.

Synopsis for "Cross Currents"

On a dock, Harold Bailey talks a fishing boat captain into hiring him and his mentally challenged son Ray as crew.  Later, the boat encounters a storm at sea and crashes onto some rocks, causing Harold to fall overboard.  Ray dives into the water and, thinking of what his father would want him to do, uses his superhuman strength to lift the boat off the rocks until help arrives. Tragically, Harold is dead.  Ray declines the captain’s offer to stay with the crew and instead calls his mother, a Stormwatch scientist, to ask if he can come live with her.
