Synopsis for 1st story

Weatherman surveys the status of the mission against al Fatahl while, in Paris, Stormwatch engages Heaven’s Fist.  They battle on the Eiffel Tower, and Stormwatch gradually gains the upper hand until the Fist’s leader Saladin prepares to detonate the neutron bomb.  At the library, Solomon fights Hassasin alone until Cannon and Unit Aleph arrive and kill the terrorist.  Unfortunately, he was one of the only people who could verify Abu Fawaz’s identity.  Back in Paris, Saladin activates the bomb and commits suicide.  When it detonates, Battalion uses his telekinesis to direct the blast up into the sky, saving the city.  Weatherman teleports in and reveals Saladin was the last person who could identify Fawaz. In Israel, Cannon and Unit Aleph grudgingly let Abu Fawaz go free.  Elsewhere, Serge Zvereva, the UN council member who ordered Fawaz’s release, is shot to death.

Synopsis for "Winter's Journey"

Scythe and Winter make their way across the Bosnian countryside to reach the UN troops at Tuzla. They see light on the horizon coming from Scythe’s nearby hometown of Podrdice.  She runs into the town only to find it set ablaze by Croat militia.  Infuriated, she slaughters them all as Winter watches in horror.  When she rejoins him, they debate the justice of killing.  Winter recalls his career in the Russian special forces, his comrade Yevgraf’s transformation into the mass murderer M.A.D.-1, and joining Stormwatch out of his own desire to atone.  Scythe tells him about her role in the ethnic cleansing of Muslims in this town.  She insists she is just a killer.  Winter tells her to let go of the past and that the future is all they can affect now.  They continue on toward Tuzla.
