Synopsis for 1st story
At the UN, Fahrenheit and Synergy train in the gym and discuss recent events. In his quarters, Flashpoint remembers killing Kilgore, his subsequent incarceration, and killing the al Fatahl arms dealer and grapples with his rage. Battalion visits his mother and tells her about his battle with Despot. Weatherman reveals to Flashpoint that he knows about the killing of the arms dealer. He then orders Flashpoint to Moscow to investigate the murder of Serge Zvereva. Scythe and Winter visit the medical bay where Nautika and Sunburst watch over the unconscious Undertow with his mother. Battalion confronts Weatherman about Backlash having been a spy for IO, and Bendix reveals he knew that all along. In Moscow, Flashpoint breaks into Zvereva’s office and find Winter waiting for him. Presuming Winter killed Zvereva, he attacks. Suddenly, a group of Russian superhumans called Death Patrol burst into the room. Back at the UN, Fuji watches as Cannon trains, worrying that Cannon blames himself for Diva’s death. Flashpoint and Winter fend off the Death Patrol and flee just as the group blows up Zvereva’s office. Later, the team assembles at the UN and boards a shuttle to Skywatch II.
