Synopsis for 1st story
Battalion, Fuji, and Hellstrike fight their way past the Mercs while Diva and Winter fly into Gamorra against orders to join them. During the flight, Diva explains to Winter what happened to Stormwatch Prime. In Operation: Desert Storm, Stormwatch Prime was assigned to protect a Kuwaiti oil refinery from the Iraqi Republican Guard. After defeating the troops, Flashpoint, Nautika, and Sunburst were ambushed and taken captive by the Mercs. Outnumbered, Backlash and Battalion could only watch as Deathtrap detonated a bomb, seemingly killing their three teammates. In Gamorra, the team fights its way past Warborgs to Stormwatch Prime’s cell but finds it empty. The Mercs burst in, and the battle resumes. Flashpoint, Nautika, and Sunburst appear, having escaped their restraints, and help defeat the Mercs. In telepathic contact with Diva, Battalion leads the team to the roof of the building where Diva and Winter wait with their aircraft. Meanwhile, Weatherman One forces Kaizen Gamorra to let Stormwatch leave by threatening to expose Gamorran black market shipments. Once aboard the UN ship, Battalion tries to shake Flashpoint’s hand, but Flashpoint punches him instead, blaming Battalion for letting them be captured in Kuwait. Still, Battalion is happy to have his teammates back.
Notes
