Supreme was nearly struck by a bullet and he traced its path to a chemical company where spies had taken the owner, Grizlock, hostage.  They had also wired the building with explosives, but Supreme was able to get everyone to safety before detonation.  He turned the spies over to the police along with a satchel containing proprietary documents they had taken.  This outraged Grizlock, as he wanted those documents back, and he vowed revenge on Supreme.  At his base beneath Fort Knox, Grizlock reveals to his assistant Horace that the documents contained evidence of his illegal activities.  The FBI arrested him, and he went to prison for 15 years.  Grizlock then presents a compound he has developed to power his Supreme Slayer battle armor.  Later, Supreme sees fires burning on the White House lawn and goes to investigate.  Grizlock awaits, wearing the armor and ready to kill him.
