Synopsis for "Supreme Apocalypse part 1"
Supreme and Kid Supreme storm the lair of the Baptist in Providence, Rhode Island. In the ensuing battle, one of his cultists stabs Supreme in the back with a mystical blade. On the planet D’khay, D’Arcangel tortures Darkthornn, powering up their terminal device with the psychic energy from his pain. Darkthornn frees himself and surveys his army, musing that they must wait until his cults on Earth feed enough energy into the device through human sacrifice to open a crash tunnel. Then, he will lead his forces through the tunnel to conquer Earth. In Providence, Kid Supreme breaks off the knife in Supreme’s back, but part of the blade remains stuck, draining Supreme’s energy. A crash tunnel opens, and Cross, Hatchet, and Wildman of the Berzerkers emerge. After a brief skirmish with Kid Supreme, they explain that, like the original Supreme, they are creations of Dr. Wells. Wells is on D’khay and may be able to remove the blade. Supreme tells Kid Supreme to stay behind to protect Earth and leaves with the Berzerkers. But, the Baptist goads Kid Supreme into following them just before their tunnel closes by claiming they work for Darkthornn. Arriving on D’khay, Kid Supreme sees the size of Darkthornn’s army while the Baptist presents the broken knife Supreme was stabbed with to Darkthornn. Elsewhere, Darkthornn’s Disciples attack the Berzerkers, and Supreme comes under Darkthornn’s control. On Earth, Berzerkers Grey and Psi-Storm find Prophet and ask his help in stopping Darkthornn’s invasion. Upon learning Wells, who is his creator as well, is on D’khay, Prophet agrees to join them.
