Synopsis for "In Final Battle"
The original Supreme lunges at Loki, but Loki momentarily turns immaterial causing Supreme to fly through him and into a building. He then teleports Enigma away as the older Supreme opens fire. Loki easily fends him off, but then the original Supreme attacks. Enigma materializes at Starguard headquarters on Earth a thousand years in the future and meets his future self. As the original Supreme pummels Loki, Lady Supreme telepathically invades his mind and realizes it was Loki who wiped out Starguard and turned Val-En into Ardath. In a hospital, Balthazar vows revenge on Lady Supreme and receives an offer of help from a man named Dr. D’Prave. To preserve the timeline, Enigma’s future self helps him erase Starguard’s memories of their battle with the Supremes and then returns Enigma to present-day Other-Earth. Loki psychically tortures Lady Supreme until Enigma and the two Supremes break his hold on her. Just as the older Supreme’s guns run out of ammunition, Loki kills him with an energy blast. Enraged, Lady Supreme and the original Supreme batter Loki with punches, and Enigma hits the god with energy blasts. Loki realizes he is nearly beaten and teleports away. Next, the older Supreme’s corpse vanishes as well. Supreme and Lady Supreme demand answers from Enigma, but he brushes them off and teleports away.
