Synopsis for "Truth on Trial"
Lady Supreme and Supreme fly off to avoid talking to the press and the police. At a nearby hospital, Dr. D’Prave fits Balthazar with a heavily armed hoverchair to exact revenge on the Supremes. Enigma teleports to Asgard to discuss Loki’s actions with Woden. Loki arrives and claims the right to confront his accuser. Enigma lays out Loki’s decades-long scheme to trigger Ragnarök, starting with duping Thor into siding with the Nazis in World War II. After Supreme frustrated Loki’s plans, Loki discovered how important Supreme and his descendants are to the stability of the timeline. Loki realized he could facilitate Ragnarök and get revenge by killing Supreme before he has any children. After Supreme left Earth, Loki lured him into a war with the alien Torgans. Once Supreme was exhausted, Loki attacked and nearly killed him. Supreme fled to the 30th century and recruited Starguard to help him. Together, they returned to the 20th century, but Loki massacred the Starguard. At Enigma’s suggestion, Supreme returned to Earth to find Thor’s hammer Mjolnir for use against Loki. Loki intervened and left Supreme with partial amnesia once he reached Earth. Enigma tried to jar his memory by pitting him against Thor, but that did not work. After Quantum caused Supreme to lose his powers, Loki manipulated him into fighting Thor for Mjolnir in Asgard. Concerned Supreme could die, Enigma brought the older Supreme from an alternate timeline as a back-up. Loki discovered this and nearly killed Enigma. When Crypt nearly killed Supreme, Loki transported him to Other-Earth. He then had the Torgans capture the older Supreme and send him to Other-Earth as well. Recovered from his injuries, Enigma enlisted Lady Supreme’s help, and they traveled to Other-Earth to help the two Supremes defeat Loki. In response to all this, Woden exiles Loki to his native Jotunheim as punishment. On Other-Earth, Lady Supreme informs Supreme she is staying on Other-Earth, and they say goodbye. As she flies over Capital City, he heads into space and prepares to return to Earth.
