Synopsis for "Loyalties"
Topkick points a gun at Deadeye’s head for killing Johnson. Cash dares him to use his powers instead. In frustration, Lynch shoots the wall behind Cash. They leave the palace, claiming Johnson was killed in action, and Team 7 departs via helicopter. Local armed forces fire on it as they fly away so Arclight uses his powers to explode their weapons. Later in D.C., Craven and Newman question Lynch about Johnson’s death. He repeats that Johnson was KIA. Newman tries to telepathically scan his mind, but Lynch blocks him and leaves. Craven decides it is time for Team 7’s final test. At a bar, Cash catches Fairchild telepathically controlling a woman’s mind, attacks him, and forces him to leave. Back at Didana’s place in Africa, a general meets with a Soviet psychic named Rostov who senses Team 7’s powers and offers to kill them. Meanwhile, Alicia Turner informs a disgruntled Deathblow that he is not joining Team 7’s next mission. The team deploys to a Middle Eastern country, ostensibly to destroy a nuclear weapons facility. What they find instead at their target location is a Coptic monastery. Recognizing another setup, Cash confronts Lynch. They fight each other with their powers, and Cash wins. He contacts Craven requesting exfiltration, but Craven secretly orders a U.S. Navy ship offshore to fire a nuclear missile at their location. Deathblow is aboard that ship and objects but is arrested. Newman questions Craven’s decision, but Craven wants to see if Team 7 can survive.
