Synopsis for "Blowout"

At Youngblood headquarters, Masada takes over monitor duty from Sentinel while, in Nevada, Diehard, Combat, Dutch, and Vogue arrive at a research facility on the Nellis Air Force Range.  Expecting to confront Cybernet, they instead are attacked by the savage Warwolf.  He is soon joined by his employer, the cyborg Maddock, his fellow henchman Blackrock, and two cybernetic Argus units. Back in D.C., Cougar and Photon bond over their shared sense of alienation from normal humans.  Riptide accepts the offer to pose nude for a magazine on the condition of no press coverage until after she informs Youngblood public relations.  But as soon as she gets off the phone, the magazine publisher Michael Ramsey leaks the news to a reporter.  In Nevada, Dutch argues with Maddock, who used to be Giger’s partner in leading Cybernet, while Warwolf assaults Vogue and Diehard and Combat engage Blackrock and the Argus units.  Maddock slips away during the battle, but Combat follows him.  Maddock teleports the two of them away along with his henchmen.  Diehard, Dutch, and Vogue are wounded but manage to escape the facility just before it explodes. Dutch radios Masada for help and, thinking he died in the explosion, reports Combat as killed in action.  Aboard a Katellan ship, Combat awakens to find himself a captive of his father, Admiral Kh’rk.
