Synopsis for "New Blood part 2"
Youngblood lands at Andrews Air Force Base with the captive New Men. As they disembark, they discuss their misgivings about fighting and arresting their young allies. Sentinel extends his sympathy to Riptide for her firing but criticizes her decision to pose nude. She asserts her right to make her own choices and storms off. Higgins, the Brotherhood of Man’s mole in Keever’s office, reports to his commander but is cut off and knocked out by Pilot. Accompanying him are Dash, Khyber, and Proctor; they have snuck into Youngblood headquarters to rescue the New Men. They find Keever arguing with Reign over the team’s arrest and need for government supervision. Proctor declares that he oversees the New Men and leads them out of the building. Youngblood is waiting for them, and Khyber fires an energy blast in haste, triggering a battle. The two teams fight until Keever comes running and reveals that the New Men were set up by the Brotherhood of Man. Exposed as a mole, Higgins confessed everything. A guard takes Keever hostage, revealing himself as another Brotherhood member, but spontaneously combusts before he can cause any harm. Later, Keever offers to make Proctor the New Men’s official government liaison. Sentinel tells Riptide he will try to get her reinstated, but she says she is glad to leave. Suddenly, Dash goes into labor. At the Brotherhood of Man’s headquarters, its leader rages at the failure of his plot against the New Men.
