Synopsis for "Extreme Prejudice part 1: Bitterness Rising!"
At Youngblood headquarters, Sentinel’s team is debating what to do with the unconscious Psi-Fire when Keever calls an emergency meeting regarding the situation at Quantum Base. Keever wants Youngblood and Bloodstrike to go there immediately to ensure the supervillain Quantum remains imprisoned, but Sentinel insists that Youngblood handle it alone. Meanwhile, seawater floods the base, and a desperate soldier trapped inside releases Quantum in the hopes the villain can save his squad. After Keever declines assistance from Stormwatch’s Weatherman One, Youngblood scramble to their jet and fly to Quantum Base. They find it in flames just as Quantum flies out of the ocean. He says he wants only to be left alone, but Sentinel will have none of it and leads the team in an attack. One by one, Quantum easily defeats Sentinel, Cougar, and Photon. Dutch tries to ram him with the team’s jet, but he simply destroys it. Masada grows to giant size and pounds Quantum into the ground, but he immediately recovers, blasts her with his electromagnetic powers, and flies away. In Seattle, David Proctor watches news coverage of Quantum’s return and decides he must reassemble the New Men. At the Pentagon, Keever hurries to react while an aide quietly confirms Quantum’s return to an unknown party over the phone.
