Synopsis for 1st story

In New Mexico, Leslie Groves and several scientists await the arrival of the alien Aoulo-Daa. Sergei Korolev informs him they arrive one a decade at this exact spot and time.

Suddenly, an alien ship arrives. It is not the usual aliens that arrive and while they initially speak a foreign language, they load English and speak with the general in his native tongue. Unbeknown to Groves, the new aliens have murdered and absorbed the knowledge of the Aoulo-Daa race. The aliens offer a deal to give them information they want, in order to receive a favor; of which they are not allowed to bargain against once asked. The alien promises to unlock the stars for Groves if he agrees.

Previously, Albert Einstein woke up in bed and reached for a piece of paper to draw a Gateway to a better world for mankind. He got out of bed and began assembling his Monolith.

Now, Richard Feynman works on the Artificial Intelligence created with Franklin D. Roosevelt's brain. The A.I. rambles on about spies in the War Department. Einstein walks up to Feynman and tells him to follow. He tells him he needs help unlocking something. He walks Feynman to his Monolith and has him start twisting and pressing on it until he unlocks three dials that control it.

In a flashback, we see Albert Einstein open the doorway to the Monolith for the first time. Out walks a person who looks just like him. The man knocks him out and drags him into his dimension. He tells him he's leaving him trapped there and he won't like it as he walks back to Albert Einstein's dimension as the door shuts.

The impostor Einstein stands behind Feynman impressed with him being able to open the door
