Synopsis for 1st story
In the not so distant future Los Angeles, a man takes photos of a beautiful and slender woman undressing. As she takes her clothes off, he captures pictures of her fat and mark coming off to reveal a different person. News Deputy Strunk sneaks up behind the photographer. Rather than make up a story, the mysterious man jumps off the roof to escape from the News Deputy.
Strunk dials his chief to report the illegal photography while chasing him on foot. He tells the Chief he's using an illegal telephoto lens and may be paparazzi. The Chief immediately perks up and tells him to open fire on him and tag him. Strunk fires colored bullets but the man activates his Dreamcoat to turn invisible. He soon escapes into a crowd of people.
Later, the paparazzi man delivers the photos to a man in a fishhead costume in the park. The fishhead man, C.G., can't be believe the photos are of Leanne. He asks if he could see her and the paparazzi, P.I., tells him it would be best if he just went home to his wife. C.G. agrees and pays P.I.
Later, P.I. sits in his office reading a book. Taj McGill enters the room and asks for help on digging into her past. She wants to apply for a job that will dig into her past. He earns her that hiring an unlicensed journalist like him is caused enough to get fired from any job. She urges she's covered most everything up but knows he's the best. He agrees to take the case as he receives a call from his Grandpa.
P.I. heads home to find his gatherings delusional about getting his cell phone to work. He explained a long time ago people used to store information in the cloud, but then one day the cloud burst.
Elsewhere, Taj returns to her home and finds DeGuerre waiting for her. Since she left his group, he murdered her to keep her from spilling their secrets. He finds the name Patrick Immelmann written in pen on her hand. He puts on her Nym.
