Synopsis for 1st story
In a vision, P.I. imagines his middle finger in past girlfriends. He then remembers helping his mom put on a lewd costume before heading to a function where she didn't want other work members to recognize her. On her way, she was hit by a car and died.
PI wakes up in bed with his grandfather attending to him. He looks down to find his middle finger is missing.
PI recalls the two Frenchmen breaking into the room.[1] They both fired bullets at the two where one took off PI's middle finger and the other appeared to hit Raveena McGill in the face. As the Frenchmen investigate, Raveena struke back and they realized they only knicked her ear. PI distracted the other man by beating him with the phone and then tackled Raveena so the two fly out through the window. They boarded a bus and headed to PI's grandpa who used to practice medicine.
At Gramp's house, the two head to the next room and turn on the news. They find stories of both of their apartments being burned to the ground. PI tells Raveena that may have been bad shots, but they're professionals. The best was to track down their attackers is to find where they bought their masks, which are considered rare.
Elsewhere, DeGuerre has Nebular drive him to his bad. He receives a call from his Frenchmen who have examined PI's finger but they find no prints as he's burned them off with acid. He tells them they found where he works, now find where he lives. He brings Nebular into his work and shows him he's built a gigantic missile, "in order to change a few minds."
