Synopsis for "Gone...but Not Forgotten"
In San Francisco, Troll is getting his picture taken with some tourists when he recognizes Julie Winters getting into a taxi. She returns home and finds her companion the Maxx reading a horror book. He shows her a gory picture of a murder victim, and she runs to the bathroom to puke in disgust. Afterward, Julie finds herself in a dark, Victorian-era alley where she meets Troll. Realizing she is disoriented, he tells her she is in London and escorts her to a safer area. Nearby, Mr. Gone has just committed the fifth Jack the Ripper murder, killing Mary Jane Kelly. Troll and Julie are eating at a restaurant when she sees Mr. Gone outside. They chase him into a tunnel where he disappears. Mr. Gone returns to the realm of Pangaea where the Maxx is looking for Julie. The Maxx takes a swing at Mr. Gone and suddenly finds himself in London with a mob accusing him of being Jack the Ripper. The police arrest him and take him to jail. At Troll’s home, he and his maid discover Julie has snuck out. She is at a pub giving a feminist speech to some prostitutes. Mr. Gone finds Troll and sends him to Pangaea where he is swarmed by the local creatures. Mr. Gone then finds Julie in the pub and chases her outside. The Maxx spontaneously returns to Pangaea and helps Troll fend off the creatures. Afterward, the two return to Maxx’s jail cell in London and bust out to find Julie. They find her just as Mr. Gone catches up to her and subdue him. Julie is about to stab Mr. Gone with his own knife when he teleports away. She and the Maxx soon follow, returning to present-day San Francisco. Elsewhere, Mr. Gone plans to get even with Troll. Present-day Troll tells a friend about meeting Julie and Jack the Ripper in 19th-century London. Troll guesses the woman he saw earlier is Julie’s descendant, unaware that was actually Julie, and says someday he will find out who Mr. Gone is.
