Synopsis for "The Human Lightning Rod!"

Lori Lake informed Chris Kelly that General Black wanted to see his "brother" Ultiman, although the mustached man claimed that his "brother" was busy at the moment, leading General Blake to inform him instead about a hurricane-level storm terrorizing the Midwest. In his office, Carl Kelly suited up as Ultiman and used his ultrascopic vision to learn how violent the storm was.

He flew into the center of the storm and found a girl inside. He used his breath to scatter the thunderclouds and the girl claimed that the storm was attacking her and did not know who she was. Ultiman used his powers to learn that she had the fingerprints of Molly Wilson. Ultiman returned to Molly's parents with her, although Mr. Wilson claimed that Molly was a grown woman when she disappeared searching for the Fountain of Youth in Central America while Mrs. Wilson believed that she could have actually found it. Ultiman saw the storm gathering again and realized that it was attacking him too.

He returned to the Wilson residence and learned that Molly was leading the storm away from her parents. When attempting to stand in front of a lightning bolt before it could hit Molly, the lightning went around him and transformed Molly into Thunder Girl of Earth-B. She revealed that when she tried to change back to Molly Wilson after getting stranded on Earth-A and deduced that the magical forces of nature from both Earth-A and Earth-B combined and gave Molly amnesia. She decided to never change back to Molly until she could find a way back to Earth-B.

Synopsis for "The Beatnik From Outer Space!!"

On Earth-A, the displaced Molly Wilson from Earth-B attended Danville High School and could not answer what year World War II ended (as it was still 1944 on Earth-B) and her Earth-A counterpart's sister sneered at her. After using her super speed-reading to study everything that happened in the past 20 years, she was alerted to a UFO flying over Danville. As Molly changed into Thunder Girl, Eve wished that she could be her sister "instead of Molly."

After the UFO crashed, she opened the door and a man named Bongo Bill introduced himself and revealed that he was kidnapped in 1961 by aliens who planned to invade Earth and taken to their square planet Centaurus 5. Bongo Bill claimed that he did not escape the aliens before the green beings emerged from their ship. In order to scare them back into their crashed ship, Thunder Girl claimed that all Earth girls had powers like her. The aliens resorted to turning their ship into a drill in order to destroy Earth in the case that they could not conquer it.

As the aliens planned to detonate an atomic bomb at the Earth's core, Thunder Girl grabbed their ship and threw it towards the Sun, causing it to explode in space. Back in Danville, nobody would believe Bongo Bill's story and Thunder Girl returned to him with new bongos and suggested that "her friend Molly" could help him catch up on the news.

When the two saw an alien, Levec rushed to his plane to radio for help while Tamko rushed to warn his village. As the U.S. Military could not defeat the alien, Prince Tamko radioed Blackjack and the Flying Aces. Meanwhile, Blackjack was in their secret west coast headquarters, in the lab of Dr. Amos Vulcan, and asked him about his time machine before Levec contacted and briefed him.

Blackjack attempted to take off in his jet but his pressure line sprung a leak, so he rode with Vulcan in his helicopter to Paru, where the other Flying Aces were waiting. As the Flying Aces studied the alien ship, the alien spotted them and they attempted to flee in their helicopter before it crashed. Doc Vulcan, who was also with them, fired his gun at the alien, but accidentally hit Blackjack, shrinking him, as it was a shrink ray.

After Blackjack shrunk he encountered aliens that looked like the giant alien Thram-Mak. As he stopped shrinking, the aliens asked him to help them locate Thram-Mak. One of the aliens introduced himself as Chaga, a scientist from the planet Zugan. In the past, Chaga discovered that Zugan's sun would explode and his race constructed a ship with Thram-Mak piloting and the scientist built a shrink ray so that they would all fit. After Thram-Mak grabbed him again, Blackjack convinced him and the other aliens to leave in exchange for a vial of sand and Doc restored the aliens to normal size and fixed Chaga's device.
