Hey guys! So this is my first blog post, and I just wanna know what y'all think about something...

So KINDA SPOILER WARNING, as some of you may have heard, the Invincible series is getting a reboot in #124.

For those of you who do not know what a reboot means, it means basically starting over from scratch. So 123 issues of Invincible (plus some other tie-ins and I guess the entire Image universe since Invincible #1? I'm not sure) are going to not be relevant. Except for the fact that Mark Grayson (Invincible) will remember them (Maybe someone else will too, who knows?). In this reboot, Mark is a senior in high-school again with no powers. His dad, Omni-Man, has not yet betrayed his family or killed the Guardians of the Globe. Also, Rex Splode is not dead and Robot is not evil. Atom Eve and Rex Splode are dating and they have not even heard of Mark. Allen still thinks Earth is Urath, and Omni-Man is Urath's defender and not a Viltrumite. Titan is still an amateur criminal, Mr. Hiles has not gone through his master plan of blowing up students, Art is still Omni-Man's friend, the Flaxans have never invaded Earth and Omni-Man never destroyed their dimension, Cecil still works with Omni-Man, and all that jazz. It seems like Mark now has the chance to rewrite history for the better. He might also be able to stop his dad.

This is cool and all, but do you guys really think this is going to last? It's good for the three issues that it takes place in, but I have a feeling it won't continue for #127 and onward. After all, it is a "Reboot?", not a "Reboot". I think they did that on purpose. But a lot of people think this thing's gonna last. I mean come on, they haven't run out of ideas THAT fast have they? Robot is still in charge of Earth and some heroes are still against him. Thragg is alive and has a bunch of Oliver-esque children who will probably all be evil. Mark and Eve have a baby!

Remember how they advertised "The Death of Everyone?" Yeah not even a million people died in that event. None of the supporting cast died, unless you count Dinosaurus who really was the villain too. Invincible didn't even die! We thought he did at the beginning of #100, but later in the same issue it is revealed that he's alive. And the series doesn't even end, nor does the Image universe. So because of THAT, I feel like this "reboot" is temporary. But I could be wrong. So, I wanna know what you guys think. You don't NEED to answer this, especially because a bunch of people just ignore blog posts or don't even see them. But if you have an opinion on it, I just wanna know. Thanks everyone!
