Synopsis for 1st story
In the summer of 1988, officials brief the U.S. President on the encroachment of Iraqi military forces on the Kuwaiti border, and he agrees to send Battlestone’s Youngblood team to stop it. Backed by U.S. forces, the team easily defeats the Iraqi troops. Battlestone gives the order to move on, but a colonel named Boggs disobeys, insisting on searching nearby tunnels for Iraqi munitions, only to be killed by a booby trap. A Lt. Gamble blames Battlestone for Boggs’s death, and Battlestones punches him, accidentally killing him. Chapel and Diehard subdue Battlestone, and the team returns to the U.S. Days later, the government fires Battlestone from Youngblood over the incident. The following year, Cougar and Sentinel introduce new team leader Shaft to his Youngblood team. The team then poses for a photograph.
